The Williamettans nudist camp and colony was founded in 1953. To date, it has grown to be the northwest's biggest nudist colony with more than 400 members. It is a cooperatively-owned nudist camp and family park nestled on 40 acres woodland in the Douglas Fir forest of Oregon. The resort offers a variety of facilities. It has a large clubhouse with sauna, showers, a whirlpool spa, rest rooms, pool and pingpong tables, a television with VCR. It also has a full-size heated swimming for those who want to take a competitive swim for exercise. Tennis courts, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, a shuffleboard and a wide children's playground is also available for everybody's use. It also has a Snack Bar open on summer weekends. The Williametans is best known for its hospitality. All Willies (how members are called), celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2003. It has hosted a wide range of national and regional conventions which received rave reviews from guests.
